WORK WITH MERIDIAN AFRICA

A specialist workstream, clearly scoped.

Agricultural intelligence, geospatial analysis and programme verification for institutions and implementation partners.

Meridian Africa is based in Abuja, Nigeria. Our strongest initial delivery context is Nigeria and West Africa; broader Sub-Saharan African assignments require a scope-specific delivery plan and any necessary field partners.

THE INSTITUTIONAL QUESTION

Could Meridian own the agricultural and geospatial monitoring workstream in this programme?

We can scope a standalone consultancy, a PIU assignment or a specialist technical subcontract.

ROUTES TO ENGAGEMENT

Procure a defined service package.

The route depends on who owns the terms of reference, source data, field access and acceptance of deliverables.

Direct institutional assignment

Technical study, spatial due diligence, monitoring design or independent verification under an agreed consultancy scope.

Borrower or implementing agency

Geographic baseline, site and asset registers, recurring programme monitoring, results support and management reporting for PIUs and ministries.

Prime contractor subcontract

A defined agricultural monitoring, GIS, climate analysis or verification workstream within a larger implementation or MEL contract.

SPECIALIST TECHNICAL DELIVERY

A workstream within a larger programme.

Meridian can define data requirements, lead geospatial analysis, review agricultural evidence, build spatial datasets and deliver technical reporting to a prime partner’s programme team. Interfaces with MEL staff, engineers, agronomists and field supervisors are specified during inception.

01

Agricultural and crop monitoring.

02

Earth observation and spatial database engineering.

03

Programme site mapping and independent verification.

04

Irrigation, land-use and climate exposure analysis.

05

Portfolio views, datasets, technical reports and management briefings.

WHAT A BUYER CAN REQUEST

A scope that is easy to evaluate.

An enquiry can include a draft terms of reference, programme geography, sample locations, indicators and expected review schedule. Sensitive data can be addressed after the appropriate agreement.

At scoping

An outline of the decision, deliverables, timing, data readiness, field dependencies and assumptions.

At contracting

Agreed technical methodology, responsibilities, acceptance criteria, reporting cadence and data handling terms.

During delivery

Reviewable evidence, documented methods, an exception register and management-facing outputs.

COMPANY AND DUE DILIGENCE

Verified information for procurement review.

Meridian Africa is headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria. Verified legal entity, registration, address and other approved corporate details can be supplied for procurement review when available. We provide scope-appropriate documentation on request; registration numbers, certifications or reference clients are published only after verification.

EVIDENCE PACKAGE

Examine the method and sample output.

The site includes a monitoring methodology, a synthetic sample report that demonstrates output structure, and published analytical articles. The sample is not presented as a completed client assignment.

Sample output

A report structure showing how decisions, evidence, uncertainty and field follow-up are recorded.

Insights

Substantive analysis of agricultural monitoring and institutional decisions.

A DEFINED CONVERSATION

Send a scope for discussion.

A programme concept note, terms of reference or technical workstream description is enough to start.
